Men Of Vision Evangelize is pleased to announce that our next project will be in the Dominican Republic in the town of San Pedro de Macoris. Our project will be to build a church for a congregation of more than 200 in this city along the southern coast of this Caribbean island.
The Open Bible Field Director in the Dominican Republic is Pastor Ansel Guzman. He was recently appointed to this position and is excited about having M.O.V.E. come to the Dominican Republic for the first time. Pastor Ansel leads a church in Santo Domingo. The church in San Pedro de Macoris is led by Pastora Claudia Santana. She is holding services in a very small building on the church property in San Pedro at this time. The church MOVE will build there will be a huge blessing to the Pastora and her congregation as they continue to grow. The trip to San Pedro will be from February 16th through March 3, 2010.
The cost per man for the trip will be $2150.00. August 15th is the date to have your completed application in with your $200.00 deposit (refundable if you are not accepted). The balance will be due in two additional payments. The first payment will be $1000.00 due by September 30th, 2009. The final payment of $950.00 will be due by December 1, 2009. Our maximum crew for this trip is 40 so if over that many apply a drawing will be needed soon after August 15th to determine who will go. The fees will cover most of the expenses including airfare, housing, meals and ground transportation. Meals while traveling to and from the Dominican Republic, snacks, souvenirs etc will be the crewmembers own responsibility. Passports have become a necessity when traveling outside our country and will be required on this trip. Watch for more information about this trip on the MOVE website at www.moveministries.org .
