… I did come back a new person and I will never be the same! However,
it was not because of the building project in Imuris, Mexico. It was because of the building project that He did in me. Some people ask, “Why should I go to other countries when I have a lot to do here?” God does not call us to leave our country, our state, or even our family because there is no work to be done here at home; He calls us away so He can get us out of our comfortable place and construct more of Jesus in us.
I ask that you pray about going on a M.O.V.E. trip, not because of the work that needs to be done there, but because of the work that He wants to accomplish in you.

This MOVE trip represented two journeys for me – both an outer and an inner journey. Unlike My first trip where I worried too much about doing something disastrous, I embraced more of the fellowship and camaraderie this time. Outwardly, I stretched myself to engage men that I normally wouldn’t hang out with. Inwardly I felt more primed than usual to extend myself more on the worksite with jobs I wouldn’t consider doing at home.
Both of my MOVE journeys happened because I let go of the steering wheel. The famous book, God Is My Co-Pilot, has it all wrong – God is the PILOT. For that matter, you’re not even the co-pilot either, just a navigator from time to time, depending on what the Lord asks of you. Sometimes God asks you to be a bricklayer, or a carpenter, or a counselor, or a prayer warrior.
The MOVE trip enabled me to grow so much in such a short time. Best of all, it’s such a blessing to be, not on the fringes, but right in the center of God’s work and His will alongside so many outstanding men. Praise God.

When Chris comes back from these trips, he doesn’t talk about the long hours they put in or how tired he was. It’s all about the fellowship that took place or the people that live in these areas and how they love to worship God. He truly comes home to his family a changed man.

Never in a million years did I think that the MOVE trip to Imuris would have such a huge impact on me and my family. Besides the obvious blessings that we all gave and received while we were there, God worked in miraculous ways on my wife and me.
May God bless all of you greatly. Thank you again for planting seeds into my life and ministry!
