Men Of Vision Evangelize was led by Ray Rexius for nearly twenty years. His love of the ministry has helped it to flourish as the Lord has blessed his dedication. In 2007 Ray stepped back from the National Director's role but remains active in MOVE on the board. Today MOVE is directed by Don Tietz as National Director and Dave Bethany as Project Construction Director. This year we have added two more members to the leadership team as board members. Don Porter and Steve Drake will add their skills and love of the ministry to the MOVE team as we continue to grow and prepare for the future of this men's ministry.
Meet each of the five members of this leadership team:

In 1998 Don heard of a M.O.V.E. trip to Mexico to build Puente de Amistad, a youth missions base, and immediately signed up knowing the Lord was calling him to go! Don knew upon arriving in Mexico that this was something he loved and was called to do. The fellowship and growth of the men as they worked laughed and cried together was special and he knew he needed to be a part of this! The impression M.O.V.E made on Don that first year did not lessen. He has been on every trip since, being blessed to work alongside some of the greatest men in this world today. Missionaries who give their lives 24-7 for the Lord, Church leaders, Church members and the men of MOVE are some of the best people he’s come to know. |

For more than 20 years David has been involved in MOVE through leadership in his local church MOVE group, leading construction teams from Southern California, or directing the construction for the National MOVE organization. Over that span of time David has also led numerous weekend teams to Tijuana, Mexico to build and repair houses, build a “Kids Kitchen” and minister to hundreds of less fortunate people. David also organized and led several Men’s Retreats while serving as the district leader for Southern California MOVE in the early 1990’s. One of the more fun ministries that David was involved in was the five years he served as the Southern California Children’s Ministry Junior Camp Activity Director. Between the water wars and screaming warm ups one was never sure who had more fun – the kids, or David. However, the best part was watching hundreds of children make commitments to the Lord. |

Steve first joined the MOVE team in 2001 on a trip to Papua New Guinea. Since then he has traveled with MOVE on 6 other trips around the world. Steve has a passion to see men have the opportunity to serve in the mission field while allowing the Lord to work in their own lives. Steve and his wife Pam serve on the youth staff at First Church of the Open Bible in Spokane, WA and have taken several teams to Tijuana, Mexico to build houses for local families and to minister to others in the community. He also serves as an elder in the church, leads a home bible group with Pam, and has hosted students for Spokane Master Commission. |
