Men Of Vision Evangelize
About MOVE Print E-mail

M.O.V.E. is Men Of Vision Evangelize and is a ministry of Open Bible Churches. Our theme scriptures are Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature..." and Matthew 5:16,"Let your light so shine before men that they will see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven"

Each year a short term mission trip of approximately two weeks is planned to travel to a foreign country with a group of men from across the U.S. These men are given an opportunity to minister to the people of the country they travel to with both their hands and their hearts. Lives are changed and lost souls are saved. In addition the men minister to each other. Those who go with an attitude of blessing others come home as blessed and changed men.

MOVE to the Dominican Republic 2010

Map of the Dominican Republic

Men Of Vision Evangelize is pleased to announce that our next project will be in the Dominican Republic in the town of San Pedro de Macoris. Our project will be to build a church for a congregation of more than 200 in this city along the southern coast of this Caribbean island.

The Open Bible Field Director in the Dominican Republic is Pastor Ansel Guzman. He was recently appointed to this position and is excited about having M.O.V.E. come to the Dominican Republic for the first time. Pastor Ansel leads a church in Santo Domingo.

The church in San Pedro de Macoris is led by Pastora Claudia Santana. She is holding services in a very small building on the church property in San Pedro at this time. The church MOVE will build there will be a huge blessing to the Pastora and her congregation as they continue to grow.

The trip to San Pedro will be from February 16th through March 3, 2010.

2009 Boffa Trip Report

In January of 2009 MOVE took a crew of 29 men to Guinea West Africa to build a church Boffa Churchin the small town of Boffa. This would be the first protestant church built in this Muslim town!

After more than twenty four hours of travel a tired crew landed in Conakry and was greeted by Tom Moore. After gathering luggage and loading it into a truck we were transported to the Moore’s compound where Sherry waited for us to arrive. After a short meeting and snacks we all retired for some much needed sleep. The next morning the truck was reloaded with luggage, supplies and mattresses and we boarded a bus and were off to Boffa, a 2-1/2 hour drive north of Conakry.
