ABOUT

MOVE is a Missions Organization affiliated with Open Bible Churches and Global Missions.  We operate with two purposes.  Our primary purpose is to minister to men and challenge them to be leaders in their homes and churches. Our secondary purpose is to enhance missions and church ministries around the world by constructing churches and other ministry buildings, and mobilize men in the body of Christ.  We accomplish this through short term missions with at least one build project annually.  All structures are self funded through donations. All men who come on our short term missions trips have the opportunity to build for the Kingdom of God and their own spiritual growth.

Since its inception in 1981, MOVE has only had one name change. MOVE started out as Men of Vision and sometime later Evangelize was added to the end to become Men of Vision Evangelize or MOVE.  By reflecting the growth of our ministry, reach younger men, and occasionally invite our families and spouses on select projects; the MOVE leadership team decided to change our name a second time, to simply MOVE. MOVE is not an acronym anymore, but our name.

Starting in this year, we will have two short term missions trips per year.  There will be an 8-10 day trip in the Fall, and an 16 day Men’s build project in the Winter.  The goal for every build project we start is to always leave a secure and weather tight building and functional for use.

Consider joining MOVE on our next build project.  Check out our Projects page for details.
